Is the dress included in the package or do I have to bring my own?
A gorgeous flying dress rental, in the color you choose, is included in your package. If you would like your shoot to include a second color dress rental, it can be added on, for an additional fee, during the checkout process.
Where are you located?
We are based year-round on the gorgeous Outer Banks of North Carolina. The OBX, as it’s referred to, is a stretch of roughly 175 miles on the northeastern seaboard of North Carolina. From points south, like Wilmington, you can drive here in approximately 4.5 hours. From points in the Piedmont area like Raleigh, approximately 3.5 hours. From the mountain regions like Charlotte, about 6 hours, or Asheville, approximately 7.5 hours.
What beach/area do you do these photos?
That’s up to you and which package you choose. Our “Just You and the Dress” package includes Currituck, Dare, and Hyde County beach locations, only.
“Our Mountains to Sea” package is any other beach or area outside of the OBX, here in the state of North Carolina. This package includes all related travel fees when booking a 1 person photoshoot. This package starts at $1500.00

When and how do I pay?
All payments are made upfront via Cash App or Venmo with a 50% non-refundable, booking fee required to secure your time, date, and preferred dress color. We have to make arrangements so that we can be available to you on your preferred date and time, confirm plans with our photography assistant, secure the dress (if we don’t have it in stock), and make sure the dress is cleaned, pressed, & ready for YOU on the day of your photoshoot. In some cases, it may be necessary to secure photography permits and pay fees. The final 50% payment is due 14 days in advance. If a problem arises for you, reach out to us. We are in the business of taking amazing photos of our clients, not to take advantage of our clients. Getting ready for your North Carolina Flying Dress Photoshoot takes a lot of work and coordination on our behalf before, during, and after the day of the photoshoot. We want to make this an amazing experience for you. We will work with you to find solutions should something come up on your end that respects both of our interests in collaborating with each other for the photoshoot.
Can my person come along and have a few photos together?
YES! We do allow a few photos of you and your person :) However, if the second person will be wearing a flying dress, there is a second person and dress fee.
Do you provide makeup or hair styling?
No, unfortunately, we do not. We hope to partner with some artists in the future.
Where do I change?
We have a changing tent that we provide on site for privacy. We also pack nice cold, bottled, spring water for you
What do I wear under the dress?
Please wear a bathing suit bottom in the color dress you chose, or black or nude. If you chose the white dress wear white bathing suit bottoms. The dress will fly high to get the shot and bathing suit bottoms seem to work best. Please avoid shapewear or things that go down the thigh area. It is very difficult to avoid seeing it when taking pictures in motion. Also, no bra or any top unless you would like a tank top, bandeau, or t-shirt underneath for more coverage. The top does a pretty good job in keeping things tucked in and we will pack tape, or you can already have some on!
